Tell us briefly about yourself.
I started my academic journey at Airforce Base Kaduna, where I had my Primary and Secondary School education. I thereafter obtained National Diploma in Architecture at Kaduna State Polytechnic in 2003 and l completed my Higher National Diploma in 2005.
How did you find yourself in politics?
It may interest you to know, that I began my political career in the year 2000. I was motivated and inspired to join politics by the excellent performance of my mentor and boss Arch. Namadi Sambo who was then the Executive Governor of Kaduna State with several achievements.
I started my political journey from the platform of the Grassroot Democratic Movement, a political party created by Major Al-Mustapha before I eventually moved to Congress for Progressive Change. From there, l joined the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), then the Alliance for Democracy (AD). From AD, l joined Action Congress (AC) and later the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). I returned to PDP before joining the APC where I have held many positions such as; Youth Leader, Director of Operations, Director of Logistics, National Youth Ambassador, Coordinator for Concerned Youths for Tinubu/ Shettima, and AA. Presently I am a member of the Presidential Campaign Committee (PCC ) in which we are working day and night to see that all our candidates emerge victorious in the forthcoming general elections.

What are CYFBAT and Youth Ambassadors, all about?
CYFBAT and Youth Ambassadors were fondly established under the umbrella of the APC National Youth wing. Our mission is to help our youths strategically harmonize and harness their potential towards national development on a progressive mission, towards the betterment of our future. As they say, “build the youth build the nation”.
Canvassing is serious business, do you have support from affluent individuals to accomplish your task?
Canvassing people is a huge task, that we need to approach with seriousness and a high sense of responsibility.
We thank God, we have some progressive minds who are contributing financially, morally, and materially to BAT’s political emancipation and liberation. Our great pillars and backbone of CYFBAT include Aare Bobaselu of Offa and CEO of Awrab Suites, Offa, Aare Adekunle Ajeigbe,(Baba Kay). He is the Patron of CYFBAT, Kwara State Chapter and he has contributed to the movement tremendously by buying us a car and branding it for easy mobilization. His gesture has taken us to another level for the commencement of the Door2Door campaign.
Also, the likes of Baba Meta of Kwara, burn B-Tech, Prince Olaleye, MD Rotana Hotel, Hon. Yakub Adam(Prudent), Hon Bashirah Kolawole, and all CYFBAT Kwara State executives who have been attending to the group’s needs and others too numerous to mention. I pray that may all of them be rewarded abundantly.
What can you say about the second-term aspiration of the governor?
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s second-term ambition is not about him alone, it is about all of us. It is about what we believe and what our future should look like. It is about what kind of legacy we should leave behind.
I want to say that the last 4 years have been a unique opportunity for the development of Kwara State.
His second term will naturally pave way for him to complete his good and well-thought-out agenda which includes, security, housing projects for teachers, expansion of roads, etc.
My sincere words of advice to the Youth out there is to channel their energy and resources by voting people of good virtue, with excellent records into power. And not to sell their votes for temporary enjoyment or monetary gains. Because the future of our nation lies in our hands.
Build the youth, build the Nation
